Tape Scale Installation

Peel and curl back a short length - about

30mm (1 inch) - of the adhesive liner from the

designated "LEFT END" of the scale as shown.

Take care not to touch the adhesive or allow

any particle contamination.

Be sure not to crease or fold the

adhesive liner. This will hinder

the tape scale movement through

applicator tool in the next step.

NOTE:

Do not peel off the blue

protective film at this time.
